       Getting to know you on a First-Name Basis is how First National Bank does business.   Knowing you well allows us to provide you with the best in customer service.  Since 1889 our goal has been is to provide quality banking with both lending and deposit services.   Deposit services include: free checking accounts for both personal and businesses.   Deposits also include competitive rates on FDIC insured Certificates of Deposit, IRAs and Savings accounts as safe ways to let your money work for you.   Our bank is eager invest in every community we call home by extending local loans.  Our experienced lenders have the resources to make loans for many purposes including: consumer, commercial, agricultural and mortgage.  Our lending decisions are made by local men and women who live here and who understand the needs of families, businesses, industries and farmers in our area.
       The people of First National Bank are working to serve our growing communities.  The bank now has offices in ten Arkansas cities including:  Paragould, Jonesboro, Corning, Piggott, Heber Springs, Rogers, Bentonville, Fayetteville, Springdale and Johnson.  In each city we operate our friendly bankers are eager to listen to your needs and serve you. 
      First National Bank began in Northeast Arkansas as the Bank of Paragould in 1889.  In 1903 the bank was granted a national bank charter and our name was changed to First National Bank.   We now have 3 offices in Paragould.   In 1984 the bank expanded to the Corning area.  Our first Jonesboro office was added in 1998 and today we have three banking offices in Northeast Arkansasís largest city.  The Piggott office which opened in 2013 is our second office in Clay County.  In 2014 FNB opened banking offices in two cities; our Heber Springs Banking Center was opened in the Central Arkansas region and in Northwest Arkansas our Rogers Banking Center.  In 2015 First National Bank added 4 new branches in the Northwest Arkansas region including the cities of: Bentonville, Fayetteville, Springdale and Johnson.   The purpose of our growth is to reach more people with our sound community banking service. 
      Growth is vital for both our customers and our community.   As a bank, First National Bank has also grown to over 1 billion dollars in total assets as of September 30, 2015.  But banking is about more than dollars and cents.  It's primarily about trusted relationships.  One significant factor in our growth has come through client referrals.  Each year thousands of new customers choose to begin a relationship with us through the Tell-A-Friend program.  This is a positive indicator of the excellent service provided by our employees.   We appreciate our customers recommending First National Bank to their friends.
